Étranger

It’s been a drawn-out, why-bother-with-readjusting adjustment to the United States since my last post. It’s been finishing the guide to Granada (favorite pictures up next), a zip-trip to Washington, D.C., wonderful new people and old friends and old people too, and finally I get to focus on my next big project. Short version : In August, I go to India to implement an arts-project based childhood education curriculum with an orphanage in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, on a 9 month Fulbright-Nehru grant. The long version is long.

I’ve most of all been gleefully appreciating the things about Bucks County, PA that I have appreciated in a million moments tucked between one place and another but never in the peculiar place that I grew up. There was a bat dancing in the purple air that my parents and I just took a walk through.
